With engaging content, expertise and vibrant personalities, online creators seek to inform, entertain and grow their audiences organically and authentically, which provides opportunities for like minded brands to collaborate in partnerships that benefit both parties in brand awareness and engagement.
Upon examination of our proprietary data, a few things stand out. Firstly, positive sentiment is an important factor; it emphasizes the importance of a fitting brand/influencer match. Influencers also come in all shapes and sizes, and after examining the data related specifically to influencers in the the video game industry, we can see that while bigger creators with enormous followings have the highest engagement rate, it’s the micro-influencers (< 100k followers) who boast the best CTR.
